About
The Airing It Out Podcast seeks to lift the shroud on topics of mental health and wellbeing so we can combat the stigma and misconceptions while pioneering for healthier wellbeing and understanding for others.

Who is Sam?
Sam has been dealing with mental illness since he was 17 having been diagnosed with clinical anxiety and depression. Living with himself became such a struggle that taking his own life and ending the pain became more and more of an attractive option.
Fortunately, that wasn't the decision he made!
Since that time, every day he continues to learn how to live with himself, striving towards a healthier, happier and more purposeful life.

Knowing there are increasingly more & more people going through what Sam did inspired action and a desire to try making a difference in his own way.
After some careful consideration, 'The Airing It Out Podcast' was born in the hope that it can show people that despite their struggles they are not alone, to offer tools to better care for their wellbeing and to destigmatize mental health and raise the conversations we should be having with eachother about how we are really doing.
“It's so refreshing hearing you and your guests talk openly and honestly about challanges you have overcome and are facing. You will be helping so many people"
"Airing it out podcast has shown me that I'm no the only who has gone through/going through a tough time, being able to listen to all these stories is important to someone like myself"
"The podcasts really help me broaden my mind and realise sometimes it's OK not to be OK. It's so inspiring hearing everyone's stories and see how everyone deals with things differently."
